India’s multi-wavelength orbiting telescope, AstroSat, has detected light from a galaxy, called AUDFs01, in the extreme-ultraviolet (UV) light. The galaxy is 9.3 billion light years away from Earth.
ASTROSAT is India’s first dedicated multi wavelength space observatory
AstroSat with a lift-off mass of 1515 kg was launched on September 28, 2015 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) has completed six years .The scheme was launched on 28th of August in 2014 with an aim to provide universal access to banking facilities to the people in the country.
About eight crore PMJDY account holders are receiving Direct Benefit Transfer from the Government under various schemes.
