Work of laying undersea cable has been executed by BSNL.

PM Modi launched a financing facility of Rs 1 lakh cr under Agri-Infra Fund; for setting up storage & processing facilities, which will help farmers get higher prices for their crops.

Quit India movement launched at the Bombay session of the All-India Congress Committee by Mahatma Gandhi on 8 August 1942, demanding an end to British Rule of India.
Mahatma Gandhi gave the call for the Indians to “do or die” to make this happen, after the failure of Cripps mission.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan reviewed meeting with states &UTs over the ''eSanjeevani'' and ''eSanjeevaniOPD'' platforms.
This eSanjeevani platform has enabled two types of telemedicine services - Doctor-to-Doctor (eSanjeevani) and Patient-to-Doctor (eSanjeevani OPD) Tele-consultations.
1.5 lakh tele-consultations (In 23 States) were completed on the tele-medicine service platforms of the Health Ministry.

Western Railway Zone has achieved a unique record after deciding to run a parcel train from Ahmedabad division in Gujarat to neighbouring country Bangladesh. It will be traversing 2110 km to reach Benapole in Bangladesh.
