CM of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh launched a collaborative 'Pride of Punjab' as a partnership between the Department of Youth Services and Sports and YuWaah - a joint initiative of UNICEF, other UN agencies, civil society organisations and the private sector.


It will kickstart with a survey using U-Report, also supported by YuWaah and UNICEF, to hear the challenges and aspirations of Punjab's youth


Pride of Punjab initiative aims to connect millions of young people of Punjab a with aspirational economic opportunities, gain relevant skills for productive lives and become changemakers.

Govt of Punjab with Yuwaah, will launch youth innovation challenges including an innovative mobile app called ‘YuWaah Ninja’ to engage young people in solving civic issues and learning 21st Century skills

The government has extended the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman Ajay Tyagi’s term by 18 months.


The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of term of appointment of Shri Ajay Tyagi, an order on the website of Department of Personnel Training said.

 National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Advance Data Management System for Highways in IIT Delhi


NHAI and IIT will work on Project Management and Data Management, Highway Network Traffic Demand and Incident Management, Highway safety, Highway Work-zone Management, Highway Pavement Management System.

 Flipkart has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the One District, One Product (ODOP) scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government to bring artisans, weavers & craftsmen into mainstream business.


The initiative called `Flipkart Samarth` will enable them to break entry barriers by extending time-bound incubation support
