Gujarat's Surat takes second spot & Navi Mumbai ranked third in the category of cities with more than 10 lakh population.
Bihar's Patna was adjudged as the dirtiest city.
2. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene & sanitation in cities and towns across India. It was launched as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
3. Ballabhgarh ,Haryana
The Animal Welfare Board of India is headquartered at Ballabhgarh in Haryana state.
AWBI is a statutory advisory body advising the Government of India's Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
It was established in 1962 under Section 4 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, by Late Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale
4. Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations

7.RBI
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) came out with a '5-Core Actions' approach for promoting financial education, which among other things include development of relevant content for school children and adults, community participation and collaboration.
The ‘National Strategy for Financial Education 2020-2025’ (NSFE), released by the RBI, has suggested a multi-stakeholder-led approach for creating a financially aware and empowered India.
The five Cs, outlined by the strategy paper, are: Content, Capacity, Community, Communication and Collaboration.
8.Flipkart
Flipkart has announced a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna to help create industry-focused applied research in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML).
9.Netmeds
Reliance Industries Ltd has acquired a majority stake in online pharmacy Netmeds .
Vitalic and its subsidiaries, collectively known as Netmeds, were incorporated in 2015. Netmeds is a licensed e-pharma portal that offers authenticated prescription and over the counter (OTC) medicine along with other health products in India.
10. ILO-ADB
ILO-ADB has released a report, titled 'Tackling the COVID-19 youth employment crisis in Asia and the Pacific
"For India, the report estimates job loss for 4.1 million youth. Construction and agriculture have witnessed the major job losses among seven key sectors” the report said.

1. Abraham Accord
On August 13, 2020, the Israel-United Arab Emirates Peace Agreement or the Abraham Accord was agreed to by UAE and Israel. It was helped by US President Donald Trump.
UAE will be the third Arab country to sign a peace agreement with Israel after Egypt (1979) and Jordan (1994).
Officially called the "Abraham Accord" in honor of Abraham, the patriarch of the three major Abrahamic religions of the world—Judaism, Islam and Christianity.

2. Qatar and Turkey
Qatar and Turkey have signed an accord to send military advisers and instructors for the armed forces of Libya's GNA.
3. IIT Madras
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) was adjudged as the top innovative educational institute in the country in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) ranking for the second consecutive year.
The results were announced by Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India.
4. IBPS, RRB, SSC
The Union Cabinet (Govt of India) has approved the setting up of the National Recruitment Agency to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Railways, Bank, and SSC.
It was announced by Union Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar as a step that will benefit the job-seeking youth of the country.
5. Rs 1517.57 cr for 3 years
The government has sanctioned a sum of ₹ 1,517.57 crore for setting up the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), which will be headquartered in Delhi. The expenditure will be undertaken over a period of three years.

Barakah nuclear power plant is the UAE's first nuclear power station and the first nuclear power station in the Arab World.
The site is in the Gharbiya region of Abu Dhabi.

8. 12 languages
The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) will conduct online tests for government jobs twice a year, and the scores of the candidates will remain valid for 3 years.
There will be different CETs for graduate level, 12th Pass level and 10th pass level to facilitate recruitment to vacancies at various levels.
The CET will be conducted in 12 major Indian languages.
There shall be no restriction on the number of attempts to be taken by a candidate to appear in the CET subject to the upper age limit. Age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per existing rules will apply.
9. Rajiv Gandhi
Sadbhavana Diwas 2020 marks the 76th birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi who was India's youngest Prime Minister at the age of 40.
